ROCHFORD IRISH WHISKEY PECAN PIE

ROCHFORD IRISH WHISKEY PECAN PIE
Ingredients:

4 egg yolks
1 cup sour cream
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/3 cup Jameson Whiskey
4 Tablespoons cornstarch
1 cup finely ground pecan
1/2 cup pecan halves
1 unbaked 9" pastry shell
Directions:

 Using a double boiler, combine sugar, yolks, cornstarch and sour cream. When smooth and creamy add spices, whiskey and 1 cup ground pecans. Stir regularly until mixture has thickened.  Pour mixture into unbaked shell and then use pecan halves to cover top. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Bon Appetite.
